Background Information

Oral and maxillofacial surgery requires an additional four years of post-graduate, university and hospital-based surgical residency and anesthesia training after graduation from dental school. As a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. Broumand manages a wide variety of problems, relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions. Dr. Broumand practices a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from dental implant surgery and wisdom tooth removal to reconstructive and corrective jaw/facial surgery. This also includes techniques designed to rebuild bone structure with minimal surgical intervention and optimal patient comfort. We can also diagnose and treat facial pain, facial injuries and fractures, as well as the full spectrum of pathologic diseases and conditions of the oral and maxillofacial region.

Surgical Staff

Dr. Broumand’s experienced clinical staff of nurse and assistants are trained in assisting with administration and monitoring of Intravenous (IV) sedation or outpatient general anesthesia and surgery, in our state-of-the-art office setting. Patients are continuously monitored during and after surgery to assure their safety.
