Dr. Larry Kawa, FL Lic # 13104Dr. Larry Kawa earned his degree from, New York University in 1991 and his specialty certificate in Orthodontics and Dento-faciel Orthodontics from New York University in 1993. He also earned a bachelor of arts in biology from Brooklyn College in 1987. He is a dual Board Certified Orthodontist, having been Board Certified by the National Board of Orthodontics. He did a thesis on cleft palates and craniofacial anomalies and their respective treatments. An emphasis in his training in his post-graduate studies was placed upon orthogenetic surgery and complex interdisciplinary cases. He also spent a year in implant training and placement at New York University as well. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, South Palm Beach County Dental Association (where he has served on the board of trustees), Broward County Dental Association and Southern Association of Orthodontists. |

Dr. Kawa has also been a continuing education provider for the Florida Board of Dentistry since 1994 and has contributed to the dental community by sponsoring a complimentary study club for both dentist and their staff. He is also closely involved with the Boy Scouts, the Girl Scouts, the Haven (a home for abused and neglected children). The Florida Panthers (where he has served as the official team orthodontist since 1997), Bartons Boosters (program of underprivileged children), and the National Children’s Dental Health month project.
Dr. Kawa is a second generation orthodontist. He grew up in Brooklyn, New York, where he attended Brooklyn College and graduated with honors in 1987. He has a working knowledge of both Spanish and Portuguese. He lives with his wife Virginia in West Boca Raton. He adores both his son, Michael, and daughter, Miki and hopes they one day share his passion for orthodontics.
Dr. Brad Santelli, FL Lic # 17283Dr. Brad Santelli earned a doctorate of dental surgery degree from New York University School of Dentistry. Upon completion of dental school, Dr. Santelli completed a one year general residency program at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Santelli then completed a two year dental specialty program in orthodontics and Dento-facial orthopedics at Jackson University. In 2005, Dr. Santelli achieved board certification from the American Board of Orthodontics. Dr. Santelli is also a diplomat of the American Board of Orthodontics. Dr. Santelli is a member of numerous professional organizations including the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, Florida Dental Association, Atlantic Coast Dental Society, Broward County Dental Association and Palm Beach County Dental Association. Dr. Santelli is an Elite invisalign provider and has been practicing with Kawa Orthodontics since 2006. Dr. Santelli resides in Boca Raton with his wife Mariana Santelli, and their bulldog, Pacino. |

Dr. Succar D.M.D., FL Lic # 18435Our team warmly welcomes Dr. Claudia Succar to our family practice. She was born in Lima, Peru and then moved to the United States at age eight. She is fluent in both English and Spanish. Her great personality and warm charismatic persona are matched only by her clinical skills and impressive academic background. Dr. Succar earned a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry in 2003 at Florida International University, from which she graduated with the honor of Magna Cum Lamle. She then went on to attend the prestigious Harvard University School of Dental Medicine, where she earned her Doctorate of Medical Dentistry in 2007. Dr. Succar then attended Nova University College of Dental Medicine to earn her specialty certificate in orthodontics. |

She also earned a Masters of Science in Dentistry Concomitantly with her specialty training in orthodontics. Dr. Succar is currently enrolled in training the Masters of Business Administration program at Lynn University as she furthers her academic pursuits during her professional career. Prior to joining our practice, she practiced in Miami. Her leadership experience is underscored by her Presidency of the Harvard Chapter of the Hispanic Dental Association. She has also served as the ASDA career liaison to the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. She has also served as ASDA President of the HU presidential chapter.
Dr. Succar’s passion is salsa dancing, which she does almost every weekend. Her parents and brother are musicians and she frequently performs with them. She is enthusiastic about salsa as she is for her passionate pursuit of excellence in orthodontics. We are blessed to have her dynamic heartfelt smile illuminates and warm our practice each day.
